# Encrypt Method


Encrypts the given password using a defined algorithm.

#### Return Value
<a href="https://learn.microsoft.com/dotnet/api/system.byte" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Byte</a>[]  
A byte array with the hashed *password*.
